Forage Based Rabbits

In 2009 we added forage based rabbits as a new venture on the farm.  We started by raising American chinchillas and Creme d'Argents.  We finish them when the weather permits in portable pens similar to the ones are meat chickens use.  We have found raising forage based rabbits to be quite challenging and rewarding.  Allowing rabbits to graze, dig and be outdoors has allowed us to create an outstanding product that we are very proud of.  If you are interested in trying our rabbits please let us know.  Supplies are very limited as the rabbits often find ways to dig out of their pens.
